We need more science education funds, pronto.

Are you kidding me? Seriously, one should not be in a position to even remotely discuss anything scientific if this is what they believe. I’ve heard people at the bar or read some pretty absurd hypotheses (conspiracies) online – but at least those people aren’t paid to represent us or appear on television. Unfortunately, these type of viewpoints are not uncommon… Perhaps this explains some of the absurd arguments I hear in the global warming/climate change debates.
